With nearly five decades of residency in Houston, the last five years in Fort Bend, Manisha Gandhi brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a proven track record of community service and leadership to her candidacy. As a mother, small business owner, and taxpayer, Manisha is committed to fostering fiscal responsibility, academic excellence, and safe schools within the Fort Bend ISD.

Fiscal Responsibility

As a school board trustee, I will uphold the trust and accountability that comes with managing public funds. I will work closely with fellow board members and the superintendent to ensure efficiency and transparency in budget management. Regular audits should be conducted, and any fiscal challenges should be addressed. I will also seek to optimize the use of resources and find innovative ways to
generate revenue for the district.

Academic Excellence

I believe that every student deserves a high-quality education that prepares them for their future goals. I will advocate for providing extra academic support and enrichment opportunities
for students who need them like SPED and after school tutoring for low performing schools.

Safe Schools

I understand that a positive and secure learning environment is essential for student success. I will collaborate with law enforcement and school staff to establish policies that prevent and address any incidents of bullying, harassment, or violence on our campuses.
